Friday 14th September

Nunhead Open 4 (1&3)
The Nunhead Open submission show 2007 - “The preview night”
Venue: The Surgery and
The Photographers’s Studio.
Time: 6-8pm

NUNHEAD OPEN 4 will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the artsweek.

Saturday 15th September

Nunhead Green Day (8)
Fun for all the family with Surrey Docks Farm’s very own Blacksmith, Dynamo Cabaret as well as stalls, plants, bouncy castle and lots of fun!
Venue: Nunhead Green
Time: 12-5pm

OPEN HOUSE  (4)
Take a look around London’s  wildest and most overgrown cemetery.
Venue: Nunhead Cemetery
Time: 11-5pm. Tours at 2pm & 3pm

Sunday 16th September

SHOE BABY (5)
Long nose puppets, winner of the Brighton Festival best childrens show presents “Shoe Baby”  for 2-6 yrs
Venue: Buchan Road Tenants Hall.
Time: 3pm
Adults £2/Children £1

Lunchtime Jazz (10)
Come down to The Old  Nuns head for good food and  some relaxing jazz.
Venue: The Old Nun’s Head. 
Time: 1pm

Tuesday 18th September

OLDER PERSONS DROP-IN (9)
Pop in to chat about growing up and life in Nunhead. Or just come along for tea and biscuits.
Venue: Nunhead Library
Time: 2-3pm

Writers Workshop (6)
Richard Ogbogbo will be holding a writers workshop to inspire any budding or wannabe writers. So bring along some of your work or pieces that inspire you.
Venue:The Restaurant

Wednesday 19th September

Folk night (10)
For an evening of great music and lively acts.
Venue: The Old Nun’s Head.

Thursday 20th September

Family Reading Group (9)
The Nunhead Family Reading Group (FRG) welcomes families to come along and share their favourite books with everyone.
Venue: Nunhead Library.
Time: 5.30 - 6.30pm

Classical Concert (7)
Nunhead welcomes classical musicians to perform music from Mozart to Gershwin. Nicola Mills (soprano) and Paul Wynne Griffiths (pianist)
Venue:The Salvation Army

Friday 21st September

Film Night (10)
Dulwich Paradiso brings the cinema experience to Nunhead with the screening of “Little Miss Sunshine”
Venue: upstairs at The Old Nun’s Head
Time: Doors 7.45pm. Film 8.30pm

Irish Folk Night
Good music and a great atmosphere!

Saturday 22nd September

TEENAGE MUSIC WORKSHOP
The place to be for all you budding Djs and music crazy teens.
Venue: The Basement @ The Salvation Army, Nunhead Green entrance
Time: 1-5pm

Sunday 23rd September

Nunhead Walk (10)
Local historian Ron Woollacott will take you on a walk about  in historic Nunhead.
Venue: Meet outside The Old Nuns Head pub.
Time: 11.30am (Walk approx.1.5 hrs)

Nunhead Open 4 (1&3)
Exhibition closes at 6pm
(Collections to be made on this day).

Arts Week update

The Nunhead Arts Week programme so far is shaping up into an eventful week.

For the rest of the week, there will be:

   The Nunhead Green Day event

   Open Space at Nunhead Cemetery
